Description | It occurs in submontane grassland and rocky hillsides in Protea grasslands. |
Threats |
Nearly 50% of this species' grassland habitat has been irreversibly modified, predominantly due to establishment of exotic timber plantations. It is suspected to be locally extinct at four locations known from historical records. Land cover data indicate ongoing sporadic habitat loss. |
Population |
This species is known from only a few, scattered records, but may be overlooked due to taxonomic problems.
