A Langeberg endemic, (EOO 48 km²), known from fewer than five locations and potentially threatened by agriculture and alien plant invasion.

Description
Low to medium altitude sandstone slopes.
Threats
Osteospermum pyrifolium occurs on nutrient poor, sandy soils which are not ideally suited to agriculture, however, crop fields do occasionally expand onto lower sandy slopes. Competition from alien invasive plants spreading into the habitat is also a potential threat.
