Justification
A range-restricted species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 1038 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 64 km². It is known from an estimated seven locations from the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. A number of subpopulations are declining due to competition from invasive alien plant species. It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion B.
