Description | The species is localised on steep, moist, south-facing slopes and rock ledges. |
Threats |
| The spread of invasive pines in the Langeberg Mountains has increased over the past decade, and pines have been seen growing within 100 m of one of the subpopulations monitored in 2023. Dense infestations of pine in the future will cause habitat loss. Currently, there are clearing efforts taking place, so invasion by pines remains a potential future threat. |

Subpopulations occur at high altitudes and have not yet been impacted by habitat degradation. The population is currently stable.
