Justification | A species known from two disjunct mountain ranges, it has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 890 km². There are between seven and 10 locations, with at least three of them currently experiencing ongoing decline in habitat quality as a result of invasive alien vegetation. It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion B. |

The population is inferred to be declining due to slow but ongoing habitat loss and degradation as a result of alien plant invasions.
