Justification | A range-restricted taxon with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 734 km, known from about five subpopulations. Various invasive vegetation have been recorded within the habitat of this species with direct and potential effects. It is therefore listed as Endangered under criterion B. |

Description | This species grows in damp, shaded, south-facing cliff faces. |
Threats |
Too frequent fire may pose serious threats as much of the Hex River Mountains has burnt twice within the past 10 years and the Keeromsberg was burnt approximately 6 years ago. This species also occurs in very low subpopulation numbers. Alien invasive vegetation such as Hakea sericea, Acacia longifolia, Pinus pinnaster, and Paraserianthes lophantha are posing potential and current threats to the subpopulations. |
