Justification
This species has a widespread distribution in the Northern Cape, extending to Namibia. Although a small proportion of its habitat has been lost to agriculture in the past, and this loss is still ongoing, it is not yet in danger of extinction. It is therefore listed as Least Concern.

It occurs in sandy soils amongst rocks or stones.
Threats
It has lost a very small proportion of habitat to agriculture, and this threat is continuing but is not likely to impact more than 5% of this species' occupied habitat.
Population

This species is known from a few subpopulations. The population value is not known but it is likely to be declining in some part of the range due to ongoing loss to agricultural activities within its habitat.
