Justification
This species is widespread and has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 90 976 km². It is known from over 40 subpopulations, which are threatened by competition from invasive alien species, habitat degradation, and loss. However, these threats are not severe enough to cause extinction in the near future. It is therefore listed as Least Concern.

However, these threats are unlikely to significantly change the species' status in the near future.
Population

There are at least 40 subpopulations of this species in its range, known from 383 observations on the iNaturalist platform recorded between 2011 and 2023. The species remains common, but the population is likely to decline as a result of numerous threats that each subpopulation faces.
