Justification | A species endemic to the southern Karoo (extent of occurrence 2140 km²), historically recorded from five locations. It has not been collected since 1935. This species is likely to have declined as a result of livestock overgrazing. It may however also be under collected as members of the genus are difficult to identify. This species therefore qualifies as Data Deficient and targeted field surveys are required to determine its current risk of extinction. |
