Population

This species was previously only known from a small area around Sutherland. Recent collections however confirmed its occurrence on the Hantamsberg, ±140 km further north, suggesting that it is possibly more widespread and common across the Roggeveld Escarpment. This species flowers during summer, outside the peak flowering season for the area, and is therefore likely to be overlooked.
