Justification | Bobartia parva is a range-restricted species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 3903 km². It is however locally common, and has no severe threats, and is therefore not in danger of extinction. |

Threats |
| There are no severe threats to this species. Most of its habitat is well-protected. Alien invasive plants are present in low densities in parts of its range. It does not pose a significant threat at present, but may become a threat in future if left unmanaged. A small part of its habitat on the southern slopes of the Langeberg has been converted to timber plantations, but plantations are no longer expanding and therefore this threat has ceased. |
Population |
Bobartia parva is widespread and common across a large area of the Langeberg. As there are no severe threats, the population is not suspected to be declining.
