Justification | This species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 319 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 56 km². It is known from eight locations. It is potentially threatened by livestock overgrazing and trampling and climate change as it grows in seasonally wet pools. It almost meets the threshold to be listed as Vulnerable under criteria D and is therefore assessed as Near Threatened. |

Threats |
This species has lost 8% of its habitat through agricultural activities (calculated using landcover data in GIS). Overgrazing and trampling by livestock may pose a problem to this species.
