Justification | This montane species is restricted to fire refuge habitats, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 536 km². It known from at least 10 subpopulations and is fairly common where it occurs and is not suspected to be in danger of extinction. It is therefore listed as Least Concern. |

It is fairly common on south facing slopes.
